01 Between to heal and to be healed
As a healer, I want to heal people. I want to make people happy and healthy.
When I was an ambitious young healer, I wanted a quickest, most inexpensive and best healing for clients. That’s why I used to be disappointed when I saw somebody who did not have those results. I used to think it was my fault.
My reckless ambition had changed when I started to learn meditation. I have learned to observe what is happening in my mind. Interestingly, I found that it was my ego which expected the excellent results. It was my ego which was hurt when an outcome was not satisfying. My ego wanted to be praised as a good healer.
A healer does not heal a client directly in my lineage. A healer enhances the healing mechanism of a client, and the client’s strengthened body heals himself holistically. So, a healer heals indirectly.
A healer also can help a body enhances the ability of healing by continuous energy healing and attunement. But again, it is the client who has the ability. It is not the healer who gives the ability to the client. A healer just wakes it up. So, again, a healer heals indirectly.
Some clients expect to be healed like magic on the spot. I will explain that it is their body and mind which recover their own body and mind. A healer can only help the process. If a client reconfirms this information, the client will have a chance to start a harmonious life, which prevents future issues and even more.
In Japan, we say ”a healthy body comes from a healthy mind” or “sickness and health start with the mind.” We learn from the body how the mind is doing. We learn from a health issue to improve the mind. If a healer cures a health issue like magic, then, the healer snatch the chance to develop his mind and life. The client will have the same problem in the future repeatedly, because the cause, the mind is not improved.
In my practice, I focus on being an intermediate function between you and the energy. It makes me possible to let pure healing energy flow into you. I would not put my ego because it blocks your progress and mine. Your body and mind purely enjoy the energy for improving the mechanism.
I believe that the relationship between a client and a healer is significant. A client is healed, and the client heals. A healer is a medium between the client and healing energy. That is how a healer and a client should interact.
