12 We are what we think
There are negative and positive energies. Regarding healing treatment, I mean negative energy is something which ruins your health of body and mind. Positive energy is the opposite, something which heals you and maintains your healthy body and mind.
The two energies are fighting even right now. If negative one wins, then we become sick. If positive one wins, then we are healthful.
To let the positive one win, our every decision should support it as much as we can. As a free will, every moment, we have a choice such as what to eat, what to wear or even what to think. As I wrote in the previous blog [11 We are what we consume], it is essential to choose healthy food.
There are two more aspects that we need to consider. First one is a climate. In East, we explained it as wind, cold, heat, humidity, dryness, and intense heat. As you can imagine, in a particular condition, those elements can raise the negative energy to worsen symptoms. It is all our choice what we wear or where to stay to support positive energy.
The second aspect is the emotion, which we tend to ignore. In East, we mainly categorize the emotions as joy, anger, sadness, worries, and fear. Usually, it seems difficult for us to control them.
Some may think joy sounds good, but I mean if joy exceeds the limit, then it may influence the function of positive energy. Anger, Sadness, Worries, and fear prevent the synchronization of your body mechanism and damage your health.
I think the emotion is the reason why we still suffer from sickness. We can get healthy food and proper clothes (*1). We have enough physical support, but we ignore non-physical part, the emotion. That is why we are still not healthy enough.
If we want to manage our emotions, we need to train our mind and change our habit. That is the only way to improve our emotion.
As you know, meditation is one of the best ways to train our mind. You can get a skill to see what is happening right now. Then, you can see the truth. Your goal is clear, so your decision is clear.
It is a good idea to meditate for a while before you make a choice. It will be before you buy something, before you put something in your mouth, or before you say something. If you can see what is happening right now and we can be natural. No anger, no sadness, no worries, and no fear.
