unite 3 elements
1. Preparation

Sit on a chair and find a position where your spine is straight.

Body

1. Push the ground and feel the upward force
2.
Release the tension of the shoulders and feel the downward force
3. Unite both forces at tanden

Breathing

4. Put your hands in front of the chest
5. Relax your tongue and unite breathing to tanden.

Mind

6. Allow the mind to connect with the Tanden by feeling comfortable breathing in the Tanden.

When the body, mind, and breath are disconnected, energy cannot flow effectively. In this preparatory practice, you will unite the body, mind, and breath at the Tanden. By doing so, you establish a central point to flow stable reiki.

Practice Advice

• Experiment with both hands-on and hands-off techniques, if possible.

• Maintain focus on the reiki energy in your hands throughout the healing session.

• If you detect an unusual vibration (e.g., roughness or stickiness) compared to other areas, keep your hands in that spot until the energy feels smoother or similar to other body parts.

• When practicing hands-off techniques, avoid moving your hands too quickly. If your hands move naturally, let them flow as this often indicates energy expansion.

• Do not send Reiki, it will naturally flow when you are relaxed, meaning body, mind, and breathing are unified with Reiki.

• When fear or doubt arises, recite the five Reiki principles to center yourself, then simply place your hands and let Reiki flow again.
